Order processing and delivery times

What is the expected timeframe for preparing my order for shipment?

The preparation time for your order varies depending on the product purchased. Typically, we offer same-day pick-up and delivery options, or other preferences you may select when placing your order. However, due to fluctuating order volumes, Decking Supplier may require up to two days to prepare your order for shipment. This timeframe applies only to items listed as "in stock" on our website.

Please note that certain products might need additional processing time, extending to five business days or more, as detailed in the "Shipping & Availability" section on the product page. Special-Order items may require between 4 to 5 weeks before they are ready to ship. Deliveries to remote locations may also face delays as we aim to consolidate orders headed in the same direction. If you have an urgent need and wish to expedite your order, please reach out to our customer service team. We are committed to doing our utmost to fit your order into our schedule and meet your timing needs.

About shipping

1. When can I expect my order to be shipped?

Orders are generally shipped out within 24 to 48 hours, assuming all the products are available. In cases where products are on backorder, you will receive an email from us with an estimated delivery timeline. If you wish to cancel an item that is on backorder, we encourage you to reach out to our Customer Service department.

2. What shipping methods are available?

For delivering orders, we utilize a range of carriers including Canada Post, FedEx, Purolator, as well as other third-party logistics providers, and in some cases, our own fleet of trucks.

3. What are the limitations on shipping?

Decking Supplier offers shipping services across Canada and the US, provided the order meets the criteria set by our transportation partners. If your order does not fulfill the requirements for a transportation quote online, please contact our Customer Service for assistance. For deliveries to certain remote areas, orders must be processed through our Shipping department, where you will be informed of the shipping costs prior to finalizing your order. We only deliver to locations with a valid street address or rural route number accompanied by a postal code. Please note that deliveries to remote or rural locations may incur additional shipping fees. It is important to mention that we are unable to deliver to PO box addresses.

4. Do you ship outside Ontario?

We ship beyond Ontario! Our services extend to various provinces across Canada as well as the US. Should you encounter difficulties obtaining a live online quote for your cart, please email us the details of the item(s) you wish to order. Our shipping department will then assess the feasibility of shipping, along with the associated costs and estimated delivery timeframe.

5. What are the shipping rates?

Shipping costs vary based on the contents of your order. The rates are influenced by factors such as the weight, dimensions of the items, and the delivery destination. To find out the shipping cost for a particular item, simply add the desired quantity of the product to your shopping cart and then enter your delivery address, including the postal code.

Manual pick-ups, order modification, and cancellation

1. Can I change or cancel my order?

If you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact Decking Supplier at your earliest convenience. We will make every effort to fulfill your request, provided that your order has not yet been processed.

2. Can I pick up from Decking Supplier warehouse?

Collect your order from our Decking Supplier warehouse located at 5266 Timberlea Blvd, Mississauga, ON, L4W 2S6. You will receive an email confirmation once your order is ready for pickup. Please wait for this email before coming to collect your order. You are required to pick up your order within 3 days from the time it is prepared. Should you fail to do so, Decking Supplier reserves the right to cancel your order and charge a 30% restocking fee. Alternatively, we can issue a full store credit under your account for future purchases; however, no refund will be provided, in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
